Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician

Duties Install, assemble, and calibrate HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment in accordance with schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to perform repairs or replacements efficiently. Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to ensure precise installation and maintenance procedures. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC/R equipment, including plumbing connections, refrigeration lines, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Diagnose mechanical problems in HVAC systems or appliances using specialized field service techniques; execute repairs with attention to safety standards. Utilize property maintenance skills to ensure all installed systems operate smoothly and meet regulatory compliance. Drive a driver vehicle safely to various job sites while managing timely project completion. Skills Strong construction background with experience in assembling HVAC components and working with schematics. Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or appliance repair. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Experience in field service operations with a focus on equipment repair and property maintenance. Welding skills for custom fabrication or repair tasks; experience with boiler systems is a plus. Mechanical mechanic experience that supports troubleshooting complex HVAC or refrigeration issues.
