HVAC/R Service Technician

Overview Setpoint Refrigeration is a small, family owned company seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional field service and maintenance for HVAC/R systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in maintenance, equipment repair, equipment installations and welding. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various equipment. Drive company van to job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each job. Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes and customer satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC/R needs. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician Minimum of 3-5 years of experience Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record is required Positive work ethic EPA Certified/NATE Certified a plus Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and property maintenance. Familiarity with refrigerate systems, field service operations, and HVAC systems is essential Electrical knowledge preferred/ability to troubleshoot 120V/230V/24V control circuits Welding/Brazing skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Applicant could be subject to random drug tests as position deals with electricity & heavy equipment Understands subcooling/superheat charging practices and able to implement in field Ability to work in high stress environments and extreme temperatures Pay dependent on experience, please send resume to Setpointrefrigeration@yahoo.com
