The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in 80% residential and 20% commercial properties. Duties Minimum (3) Years Experience in HVAC Service, Repairs, and Troubleshooting Ability to troubleshoot and repair Residential/commercial HVAC systems Must be organized and complete required paperwork in a timely manner Ability to communicate findings and job status to customers Experience with unit changeouts is a plus Follow safety procedures and requirements Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus. Solid understanding of air conditioning design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license/ insurable driving record is required. Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends required. Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations. Travel up to 160 miles round-trip per day
Qualifications:
EPA Certification Valid Driver's License High School Diploma HVAC Diploma and/or Experience (Preferred)
Strong Customer Service Skills Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
