Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units in residential settings, following schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation, safety, and efficiency during and after installation. Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters and various equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems. Communicate effectively with clients to explain system features, maintenance procedures, and answer questions about their HVAC systems. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for each project. Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial construction or service technician roles with a focus on HVAC installation or maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating,Ventilation,A/C/Refrigeration) systems and schematics. Ability to operate field service tools such as ohmmeters, brazing equipment, and other diagnostic instruments. Experience with HVAC design principles and property maintenance practices. driver vehicle is preferred. Knowledge of electrical wiring, equipment repair techniques, and safety protocols related to HVAC/R work.
