About the Company We are partnering with a growing commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor in San Diego that is looking to add a Service Manager / Operations Manager to their team. About the Role This is a full-time, in-office role based in the San Diego area with a base salary in the $130,000 to $140,000 range, depending on experience. Responsibilities Leading and supporting HVAC and plumbing service technicians Coordinating with dispatch, administration, ownership, and field teams Managing service calls, scheduling, technician utilization, and customer follow-up Reviewing work orders, service tickets, labor, materials, and job notes Improving workflow, accountability, response times, and job profitability Supporting a team of roughly 3 to 4 plumbers and 4 to 5 HVAC technicians Helping a growing service operation become more structured, efficient, and scalable Qualifications Commercial HVAC service management experience Plumbing service leadership experience is a plus Mechanical, facilities service, or commercial service operations background Experience leading technicians, dispatchers, coordinators, or field teams Strong customer communication and operational follow-through Comfortable in a smaller, family-owned business environment where ownership, urgency, and accountability matter Required Skills This could be a great fit for someone who has grown from the field or dispatch into service leadership and wants a visible role with real impact.
