Company Vehicle, Gas Card, Paid Time Off, Health Benefits, Holiday Pay, and Tool Assistance Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC / Low Temperature Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team in the Greater Bay Area. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems at a variety of customer locations including restaurants, retail stores, movie theaters, commercial facilities, and industrial sites.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, customer-focused, and experienced in both HVAC and refrigeration service work. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and package units Service and troubleshoot low temperature refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components Complete service reports and documentation accurately and timely Communicate professionally with customers and office staff Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory Follow all EPA, OSHA, and safety regulations Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience EPA certification Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and controls Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and handle various weather conditions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Professional, reliable, and customer-focused Experience with low temperature refrigeration systems required Ability to participate in occasional weekend and occasional overtime Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Experience with EMS/BMS controls What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle and fuel card Company-provided uniforms Paid holidays and PTO Medical benefits after 60 days Supportive team environment Schedule Monday - Friday Some Weekends Overtime opportunities available Apply Today If you are a skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician looking to grow with a company that values quality work and teamwork, Apex Air would love to hear from you.
