Technician Certification Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and field service experience to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Conduct equipment repairs including boilers and other heating appliances as necessary. Collaborate with clients to design customized HVAC solutions that meet their specific needs. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any customer interactions. Drive company van to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of HVAC/R. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment. Experience in appliance repair is a plus. Familiarity with welding techniques is desirable for certain repair tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
