Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, utilizing your technical skills and passion for mechanical systems. As an HVAC Installer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance systems to ensure optimal operation Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and install equipment Diagnose system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices; perform troubleshooting to identify root causes Perform field service tasks including equipment repair, component replacement, welding, and mechanical adjustments Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, inspections, and service reports for each project Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes during all phases of installation and maintenance Skills Strong construction background with experience in property maintenance and building systems Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems or appliance repair Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans effectively Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and general HVAC equipment Experience with plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and maintenance Familiarity with electrical components using tools like ohmmeters; capable of performing electrical troubleshooting Skilled in welding, equipment repair, and mechanical adjustments in a variety of environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely Knowledge of field service operations including troubleshooting complex systems such as HVAC/R or ammonia refrigeration units Experience working with property management or commercial clients is a plus Join us to bring energy-efficient comfort solutions to our clients!
