What's in it for You? $30.00 - $75.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, and technical expertise Progressive pay increases tied to certification achievements and professional development Medical insurance with 100% employee coverage and 75% dependent coverage Dental and vision insurance Retirement benefits Paid holidays PTO with negotiable starting accrual Company vehicle Gas card Company phone Tool account Health Savings Account (HSA) Ongoing training and cross-training opportunities in industrial refrigeration systems Potential relocation assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis Why You'll Love It Here Join a team that values technical excellence, accountability, and customer relationships Expand your skills in ammonia refrigeration, synthetic refrigeration systems, compressor rebuilds, controls, and advanced troubleshooting Work alongside experienced professionals who support learning and career growth Gain exposure to a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment Be trusted to take ownership of projects and deliver solutions that make a real impact for customers Build a long-term career with a company that rewards initiative, certifications, and continuous improvement Your New Role Travel to customer sites to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and HVACR systems Perform hot and cold compressor and motor alignments Repair and maintain reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors Conduct compressor rebuilds and shaft seal replacements Troubleshoot refrigeration systems using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic testing equipment Install and service expansion valves, control valves, and refrigeration components Use oxy-acetylene equipment to repair and install refrigeration systems Install wiring and electrical connections for refrigeration equipment and controls Test lines, components, and connections for leaks Perform commissioning and startup of ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems Troubleshoot computerized refrigeration controls, PLCs, microprocessors, and control panels Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and communication Complete work orders, service documentation, and timecards accurately within the SimPRO system Obtain customer approvals and signatures before leaving job sites Maintain company vehicle, truck stock, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition Generate purchase orders and coordinate materials required for service work Stay engaged on projects through completion while collaborating with customers and team members Work overtime and participate in on-call rotations as needed to support customer operations
Hiring Expectations:

Minimum 2-3 years of HVACR experience EPA 608 Certification required CERO (RITA Certification) preferred Trade school education or equivalent hands-on experience in refrigeration, HVACR, or a related field Experience troubleshooting refrigeration systems, compressors, motors, controls, and electrical components Ability to diagnose and repair commercial or industrial refrigeration equipment Knowledge of reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors preferred Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus but not required Willingness to learn industrial ammonia refrigeration through company training Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system documentation Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, and team members Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills Reliable transportation and an excellent driving record Ability to obtain and maintain Universal EPA Certification requirements if additional credentials are needed Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to refrigeration-related materials Willingness to work overtime, on-call schedules, and flexible hours to support customer needs TDI Refrigeration is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
