Job Description
Overview D.R. Heating and Cooling is a family-owned HVAC company proudly serving the Denver, Colorado area. With over 40 years of industry experience, we are committed to providing honest, quality service to our customers and creating a dependable team environment for experienced professionals. We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Technician/Contractor to perform residential replacements including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems. Position Type 1099 Independent Contractor Part-Time / As Needed Currently averaging 1-2 jobs per week with opportunity for increased workload as business grows Responsibilities Install and replace residential HVAC systems including: Furnaces Air Conditioning Systems Heat Pumps Mini Split Systems Tankless Water Heaters Complete installations with minimal supervision Ensure installations are completed professionally and up to code Communicate clearly regarding job progress and material needs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience required Strong knowledge of residential HVAC replacement work Ability to complete installations independently Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation EPA Certification preferred Strong work ethic and attention to detail Compensation This is not an hourly position Pay is per job completed Different replacement types have different pay rates Compensation will be negotiated during the interview process based on experience and capabilities Additional Information The owner will personally line out each project and perform quality control inspections to ensure success and support the installation process.
