In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology, including refrigeration systems and ammonia refrigeration, while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in accordance with schematics and design specifications Diagnose system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment; perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of malfunctions Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to ensure precise installation and repairs Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize lifespan and efficiency while minimizing downtime Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs Repair appliances associated with property maintenance, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently Weld or perform mechanical repairs on equipment as needed; utilize welding skills for ductwork or component fabrication Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport tools or equipment between job sites Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and installation processes Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Skilled in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and general construction tasks related to HVAC systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred Knowledge of electrical components associated with HVAC systems; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in the field under minimal supervision Join us in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions!
