Position Summary Colorado Bear Heating & Air is hiring a dependable Residential Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The right candidate puts safety first, delivers excellent customer service, and works independently while representing our company's core values Key Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and related components. Perform system diagnostics, refrigerant charging, electrical troubleshooting, and combustion analysis. Complete preventive maintenance services and seasonal tune-ups per company standards. Provide clear, professional explanations of findings, repair options, and cost estimates to homeowners. Respond to service calls promptly and manage route schedule efficiently; handle emergency service calls as needed. Follow company safety policies, local codes, and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate service reporting in CRM Keep service vehicle, tools, and inventory clean, organized, and service-ready. Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and team meetings. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent preferred. EPA 608 refrigerant certification (Type II/Universal) required. 5+ years residential service HVAC experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to pass background check. Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied temperatures and confined spaces. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
