Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal climate control solutions by interpreting schematics, performing equipment repairs, and adhering to safety standards. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment in accordance with technical specifications and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and HVAC design plans to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems. Perform service technician tasks such as diagnosing issues with refrigeration units, plumbing connections, or appliance repairs related to HVAC systems. Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for metal fabrication or repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed records of installation processes, maintenance activities, and repairs while adhering to safety regulations. Assist with property maintenance tasks involving air conditioning units or ammonia refrigeration systems; operate a driver vehicle for equipment transport when required. Experience Proven experience in construction or mechanical trades with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles. Hands-on experience working with schematics, HVAC design plans, plumbing systems, refrigeration units, and boiler maintenance. Knowledge of mechanical systems including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R technology is highly desirable. Familiarity with field service operations involving appliance repair, property maintenance, or equipment repair is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform welding or equipment repairs safely and effectively. Prior mechanic experience or certification in HVAC/R is advantageous; experience with boiler systems is a plus. Valid driver's license required; experience in property maintenance or facility management will be considered an asset. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
