Certification Full Job Description Endeavor Exteriors is looking for an HVAC Technician to join our team! This is a full-time position with benefits.
Job Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of commercial HVAC systems and be willing to learn new skills. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is willing to grow with our company. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install new equipment, repair or replace existing equipment, and troubleshoot problems with residential and commercial HVAC systems Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (diagnosing, repairing, and removing defective parts) Conduct routine maintenance activities including cleaning filters, changing air filters, performing minor repairs as needed, etc. (will train on required skills) Perform preventative maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC systems (will train on required skills) Maintain accurate records of work performed (including warranty work) Ability to work independently with little supervision Willingness to learn new skills as needed Other duties as assigned (providing company training as needed)
Skills:
5+ years of experience in HVAC or other related fields Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. Ability to handle physical workload Proficient in reading schematics and work plans. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
