Job Opening - HVAC Service Technician We currently have an open position for a HVAC Technician to help us better serve our customers. The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician who can accurately identify system issues, recommend solutions, and help homeowners make informed decisions regarding repairs, maintenance, and system replacements. Job Duties and Responsibilities Complete all demand and non-demand HVAC in-home service calls Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment. Install minor HVAC components and accessories as needed. Perform preventive maintenance and tune-ups to maximize system performance and lifespan. Establish customer rapport and provide the right products and solutions Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions. Articulate repair and/or replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or under performing systems and up sell. Understand service criteria and be accountable for exceeding revenue goals. Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements. Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. Responsible for a company work vehicle, parts inventory, and equipment assigned to the company work vehicle. The installer has complete responsibility for the vehicle. Perform all work to industry standards and maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times. Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits. Show up on time for calls and training meetings. Train and mentor apprentices to ensure timely, accurate repairs and installations. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. Present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing. Educate and assist customers in choosing the best financing options and maintenance plans. Job Requirements Excellent sales skills, customer service, organization, and communication skills 3+ years of experience in the HVAC field Strong work ethic and self motivated Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. In-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations regarding HVAC is a plus. Valid drivers license and clean driving record EPA Certification NATE preferred but not required Ability to utilize computer, smart phone and/or iPad for interaction with sales system. Service Titan Experience a plus!
