$36.00 - $48.00 per hour Full-Time | In-Person Position Summary We're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is focused on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC systems. You'll troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC issues, provide reliable solutions, and deliver outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities - HVAC Service Technician Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and systems Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups Troubleshoot issues and apply practical solutions Interpret and apply local HVAC codes as needed Provide excellent customer service on every call Communicate clearly with dispatch, sales, and management Maintain clean and organized work areas, including vehicle inventory Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service Qualifications - HVAC Service Technician 2-5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience Universal EPA certification required (Type II preferred) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organized, reliable, with excellent attendance history Strong communication skills Physical Requirements Able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable working in tight spaces, high places, and all weather conditions Frequent climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and standing Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Professional development opportunities Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8-10 hour shifts Overtime opportunities available On-call rotation required Education & Certification High school diploma or equivalent preferred EPA certification (Universal preferred) Work Location In person Must be able to commute to Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 (required) Relocation required before starting work (if applicable) About Us Since 1993, American Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical has proudly served the Vail Valley as the leading plumbing and HVAC service provider.
