HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role demands a strong understanding of HVAC system basics and safety protocols to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment malfunctions using standard diagnostic tools and procedures. Adhere to established safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Accurately document maintenance and repair work in service logs and reports. Essential Skills Understanding of fundamental HVAC system components and operations. Ability to install HVAC equipment following standard guidelines and procedures. Proficiency in performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure efficient system operation. Skill in identifying and resolving basic HVAC system issues using prescribed methods. Competency in accurately recording maintenance activities and service reports. Adherence to safety standards and procedures. Proficiency in using basic HVAC tools and equipment. Effective communication skills with team members. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines. Commitment to quality assurance and adherence to company guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.67 - $33.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
