TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE- MANUFACTURER'S REPRESENTATIVE
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our Manufacturer's Representative team in the HVAC/R industry. As a Technical Sales Representative , you will be responsible for promoting and selling the technical products and services to clients. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent HVAC/R equipment knowledge, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop an understanding of the HVAC/R products and solutions we represent, including their features, benefits and applications. Support existing customers in assigned markets to successfully drive consistent growth. Identify and target new customers in assigned markets to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities. Collaborate with company management and represented manufacturers to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets. Proactively reach out to existing and prospective clients, conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, and actively work with HVAC/R channel partners to drive sales of represented products. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and contracts, addressing customer needs and showcasing the value proposition of the HVAC/R products and services we represent. Provide accurate and timely reporting and market feedback to sales management. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive market dynamics and new product developments to effectively position our offerings in the marketplace. Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, customer support and contractors to ensure successful application of our products and solutions.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline) is preferred. Commiserate HVAC/R experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Proven experience in a technical sales capacity with B2B experience preferred. Strong technical acumen with ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical concepts. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of exceeding sales targets. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with diverse stakeholders. Must be self-motivated, results driven and capable of working both independently and within a team environment. This position requires overnight travel (up to 75%) and candidates must have a valid driver's license.WHO WE ARE
