Job Description

We pride ourselves on delivering quality service and building lasting relationships within our community. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers experience optimal comfort and system efficiency through proactive service and technical excellence. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing components. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately perform installations and repairs. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Perform appliance repair and property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace components such as compressors, fans, valves, and thermostats. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes; operate driver vehicles safely when transporting equipment or parts. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and air conditioning units. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately. Experience with plumbing systems, appliance repair, welding, and equipment repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with field service procedures using tools such as ohmmeters; ability to perform maintenance on complex mechanical systems. Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems; experience with driver vehicles preferred. Certifications in HVAC/R are a plus; mechanic experience is advantageous. $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
