Job Description

HVAC Installer Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair. You will be responsible for ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely, leveraging your technical knowledge, understanding of safety regulations, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and technical drawings. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Perform precise installation of commercial and residential HVAC equipment according to company policies, manufacturer specifications, and blueprints/schematics. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute installation schedules. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installation and maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of installations, including parts and materials used. Inspect and test HVAC system installations to ensure safe and efficient functionality. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. Assist other employees as directed by management and perform additional tasks as assigned. Establish effective working relationships with co-workers and management. Requirements Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly to clients and team members. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Strong professional conduct, relationship-building, planning, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Technical proficiency to demonstrate product functionality and troubleshoot issues. Effective time management and documentation skills. Qualifications Valid HVAC certifications and/or licenses. Minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience in commercial and residential HVAC installation. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques. Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools (manometers, thermometers, multimeters, hygrometers). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and company-specific software. Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools. Knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and boiler systems.
