Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environments for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals passionate about building systems and delivering exceptional service. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design specifications. Conduct system troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges to diagnose issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal operation and energy efficiency. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and plumbing diagrams to facilitate precise installations. Utilize welding, mechanical knowledge, and property maintenance skills to modify or fabricate components as needed. Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) applications in specialized environments. Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport equipment and materials to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations. Collaborate with service technicians on field service tasks such as appliance repair or complex system diagnostics. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance work. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system configurations for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in construction trades or as an HVAC service technician with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration processes, and property maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related appliances. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and the ability to interpret electrical schematics. Mechanical knowledge complemented by welding skills and experience working with ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
