Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, and deliver exceptional service to ensure optimal indoor comfort. You will work hands-on with a variety of equipment, from refrigeration units to boilers, contributing to property maintenance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity. Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, such as pipe repairs and system flushing. Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits across multiple sites. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and appliances to support overall building operations. Repair and replace mechanical components using appropriate techniques and safety procedures. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ammonia refrigeration or HVAC design modifications. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician within construction or property maintenance environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, and system installation. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology including ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler operation. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience working in field service roles with a focus on air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, or refrigeration systems. Knowledge of welding techniques and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is highly desirable. Previous mechanic experience or certifications related to HVAC/R or boiler systems will be considered an asset. Join us in delivering top-tier climate control solutions! Pay:
$20.00 - $34.00 per hour
