Commercial HVAC Technician Qualifications:

CT Class S HVAC License (S1 or S2) required 3+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC, Sheet Metal/Ductwork, or Mechanical Install experience preferred Diagnostic / Troubleshooting experience preferred Industrial, MFG, Pharmaceutical, or Clean Room experience preferred

Position Offers:

Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

This role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and sheet metal systems Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC and airflow issues, performing preventative maintenance and repairs, fabricating and installing ductwork, reading blueprints, and supporting HVAC installations, retrofits, and mechanical upgrades Additional duties include servicing rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, exhaust and makeup air systems, VAV systems, and other commercial HVAC equipment while assisting with duct fabrication, piping, and specialty mechanical projects Work may involve commercial buildings, manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, clean rooms, schools, restaurants, retail spaces, and industrial facilities throughout the local Tri-State area Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
