Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for licensed professionals or seasoned technicians with extensive field experience to showcase their expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC and related equipment across diverse property types. Your technical proficiency, attention to detail, and proactive approach will ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing fixtures. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct field service operations involving equipment repair, maintenance tasks, welding, and mechanical adjustments to ensure systems operate efficiently. Perform appliance repairs related to HVAC/R systems and property maintenance tasks as needed. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure system integrity. Assist with HVAC system upgrades or new installations following safety standards and best practices. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports for accountability and future reference. Requirements Valid HVAC technician license or extensive hands-on experience in HVAC/R field service roles. Proven experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Skilled in plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding, and general property maintenance tasks. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation needs. Knowledge of mechanical systems including boilers and other heating equipment; mechanic experience is a plus. Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
