Position Overview:
As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be responsible for the service, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various refrigeration and HVAC systems. Your primary focus will be on light commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers & freezers, sandwich stations, ice machines, reach-in refrigerators & freezers, etc.Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Service, diagnose and repair light industrial commercial refrigeration systems, such as walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, sandwich stations, reach-ins/stand in, double door, under the counter, etc. HVAC responsibilities include servicing gas furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, mini-split systems, roof top units and wiring controls. Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of repairs and service recommendations. Communicate with back office daily to confirm scheduling, job requirements, job summaries, etc. Maintain a clean vehicle, job site, and always keep a professional appearance. Manage assigned work to meet deadlines and customer expectations in a timely manner. Keep accurate records of work, including parts used, time spent, customer information, etc. Always comply with company, industry, and customer safety policies/standards.Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC/R service and install experience. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail. Demonstrate communication and excellent customer service skills. Basic electrical and wiring experience. Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. License preferred (preferred, not required). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment safely. Ability to climb a ladder for roof top units.Job Types:
