Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems (residential, commercial, or industrial). Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment. Clean, adjust, and replace components such as filters and belts. Test system performance using specialized tools and instruments. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency. Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and facility managers to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
Employer conducts background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record Check. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred. Valid HVAC license (where required by state or local regulations). Previous experience required due to nature of job. Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures. Ability to be Exposed to dust, noise, and mechanical hazards; proper PPE provided. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams due to nature of job. Knowledge of diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters . Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license due to travel. Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces. Experience with various commercial HVAC manufacturers and models. Employer has additional requirements Preferred Skills EPA Section 608 Certification (handling refrigerants). OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart HVAC technologies. Customer service experience in dealing with clients or tenants.
Work Schedule:
Full-time work schedule with occasional overtime and weekend shifts Monday to
