Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults. Conduct field service visits for appliance repair, property maintenance, and system upgrades across multiple sites. Weld or perform equipment repairs as needed; operate tools such as welding equipment safely and effectively. Maintain detailed records of all service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar construction or mechanical maintenance role. Strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC design principles. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, and equipment repair techniques. Experience with field service operations involving property maintenance or commercial/residential HVAC installation. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately; proficiency with diagnostic tools like ohmmeters is essential. Welding skills or mechanical mechanic experience are highly desirable; valid driver's license with a driver qualification is required for travel between sites.
