Community Service Foundation, Inc. is an essential non-profit organization. For over 80 years in Pinellas County, we have provided affordable housing to low-income families, individuals, homeless Veterans, and shared living for qualified homeless individuals. We offer well-maintained homes and apartments for all our residents, along with top-tier client relationships.
Essential Functions:
We are seeking a General Maintenance/Make-Ready/HVAC-EPA Certification to ensure the property's physical condition is maintained in accordance with the company's operating and safety standards. The company has 188 doors in Clearwater, St. Pete, Spring Hill, and Port Richey. The maintenance department is a two-person team. Organize, prioritize, and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly and on time.

Knowledge of Fair Housing and Housing Urban Development Regulations.

Turnkey operations and assistance with making vacant units rent-ready on time are required. Houses and units must be submitted within 10 business days.

Maintain hot water tanks or be able to replace them as needed.

Perform minor electrical and plumbing.

Securely climb ladders to inspect roofs and clean existing gutters.

Maintain a preventive maintenance program for general maintenance and air conditioning units.

Maintain weekly inventory control and the company maintenance shop.

Ensure the physical condition and curb appeal of the communities are maintained.

Work under the direction of the Asset Manager.

On-call, after-hours maintenance, emergency, and every other weekend. (no lockouts and no after-dark calls)A candidate should own a set of hand tools and AC gauges. (required to have).Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Required to work weekends on call or special projects. This position also requires the ability to transport at least 50 pounds over variable distances, as well as the mobility and flexibility to walk, bend, kneel, and reach to perform the duties described above. Additionally, it requires the ability to work consistently outdoors in temperatures exceeding 89 degrees Fahrenheit or falling below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Compensation:
100% paid medical (PPO), Dental, and Vision. Hourly pay depends on experience. Excellent PTO program. Assigned company vehicle. Must have a good driving record.
