Davie, FL Type of Construction/Work they perform: HVAC / Mechanical (Commercial, Industrial) Job Overview Ductologist is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to support commercial and industrial HVAC projects in the field. This role focuses on the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of commercial air conditioning systems, including equipment setting, controls, and low-voltage wiring. The ideal technician is reliable, safety-minded, and takes pride in quality workmanship, clear communication, and doing the job right the first time. Key Responsibilities Install and set commercial HVAC and A/C equipment according to plans and specifications Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting Run, terminate, and verify low-voltage wiring and HVAC controls Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation documents Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and other trades on active job sites Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and manufacturer guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Identify and communicate issues related to equipment, materials, or installation conflicts Assist with punch list items and project closeout tasks as needed Represent Ductologist professionally on job sites through strong work ethic and teamwork Qualifications 3+ years of experience as an A/C Technician or Commercial HVAC Technician preferred Strong experience with commercial HVAC installation and troubleshooting Proficiency with setting commercial equipment and installing HVAC controls Ability to run and terminate low-voltage wiring EPA Certification required Ability to read and follow plans, specifications, and scopes of work Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices Reliable, punctual, organized, and coachable Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to travel as required for project locations No formal education requirement Compensation & Benefits $32 - $38 per hour, based on experience Performance-based bonuses Bi-weekly pay cycle Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance options Retirement savings program Paid time off Paid training and certifications Travel projects with per diem Company events Clear opportunities for advancement Work Schedule Full-time Monday - Friday Overtime and weekend work as required by project schedules Work Location Travel required Work performed at commercial and industrial project sites Travel projects supported with per diem Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
