Full-Time About the Role Youngquist LLC is seeking a skilled AC Technician with hands-on electrical experience to install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable diagnosing both mechanical and electrical issues, works safely and independently, and takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC/AC systems. Diagnose and repair electrical components including wiring, contactors, capacitors, motors, and control boards. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal system tune-ups. Recover, recharge, and properly handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations. Test system performance and ensure all work meets safety and electrical codes. Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders, and manage truck inventory. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC/AC technician (typically 2+ years). Demonstrated electrical experience; licensed or apprentice electrician background strongly preferred. Working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and low-voltage wiring. Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, etc.). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification a plus. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, on ladders, and on rooftops. Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions and temperatures.
