Classic Air - Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial facilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems Perform routine preventative maintenance according to service schedules Work with building automation systems (BAS) and controls Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Provide detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed Communicate with clients to explain findings, recommend solutions, and provide estimates Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred EPA Section 608 Certification required 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces
