Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician - Commercial to join a reputable Mechanical Contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Office Location:

Hollywood, FL Projects in Broward and Palm Beach Counties Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial-size HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, fans, vents, motors, and more. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct service calls to commercial properties for service requests. Repair or replace defective components using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. Qualifications Commercial/New Construction experience is a must Proven experience as an HVAC technician Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and air conditioning systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to HVAC systems. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting HVAC issues. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Valid driver's license EPA Certification is preferred
