HVAC Technician Hourly Pay Rate:
$28.00
Position Summary:
This HVAC Technician position is primarily responsible for maintaining The Ocean Club property in pristine condition. The right candidate will meet the job requirements and be able to complete the assigned duties and responsibilities on a daily basis with the goal to keep the community looking its best.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute preventive maintenance for AC equipment and refrigeration units—weekly, monthly and annually Detect and repair any malfunction related to AC equipment and/or refrigeration—equipment includes food and beverage areas Perform daily walkthrough around the property checking operation of the equipment—includes food and beverage areas Check and report malfunction of the cooling tower Operate and maintain the pump system for the open loop to the cooling tower Operate and maintain the pump system for the close loop from the heat exchanger to all AC units Check and detect malfunctions through computerized system of all the AC units Preventative and corrective maintenance of tools, manometers, tanks, welding machine, gas recovery machine and golf cart assigned Repair and replace units, correct leaks—as needed Recycle the gas using gas recovery equipment Maintain appropriate gas level on each of the equipment Repair, maintain and assist the supervisor in major repairs of air ventilation systems of parking garage, kitchen and restrooms Replace filters in all A/C units and equipment around the property per equipment every six months Coil cleaning, evaporators and condensing units Experience 10+ years of experience in A/C equipment, refrigeration, Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and priorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks within an area of responsibility. Ability to participate in a staff with a positive attitude and in a productive manner by motivating, developing and contributing to the company community. Ability to utilize and cope with company resources. Must have excellent communication skills.
