Additionally, we take pride in offering cutting-edge AI-powered condition-based monitoring, customized controls, seamless systems integration, and advanced automation solutions. Our Operations team in Lakeland, Florida is looking to hire two experienced A C Motor Technician ! The AC Motor Technician will perform advanced disassembly, inspection, repair, testing, and reassembly of complex AC and DC motors and rotating equipment. This role works with minimal supervision, ensures compliance with
FLANDERS
quality and ISO standards, and serves as a mentor to junior technicians while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Here's What You'll Do:
Review work scopes and job requirements prior to repair. Disassemble, clean, inspect, and document motor components. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures. Repair or replace bearings, brushes, leads, seals, gears, and other electromechanical components. Reassembling equipment for customers and company specifications. Perform electrical and mechanical testing (Megger, Hipot, Surge, PI, up to 12,000 VDC). Conduct final test runs and verify performance, rotation, and vibration. Completely required documentation and quality checklists. Train and support Technician I & II team members. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Here's What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5 years of AC/DC motor repair experience Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and shop equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
