We self-perform HVAC, piping, and plumbing on schools, municipal facilities, and commercial projects — and we back that construction work with a dedicated service division. We move fast, take ownership, and build things right. The Role This is not a break-fix position. Our Senior Service Technicians split their time between commissioning and startup on active new construction projects and maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems across our existing portfolio. You will work alongside our project teams from rough-in through owner turnover, and remain a resource long after punch list. New Construction & Commissioning Lead startup of commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, AHUs, and VRF Execute equipment pre-startup checklists, refrigerant charging, airflow verification, and controls commissioning Coordinate with general contractors, owners, and COR3 project managers during turnover and owner training Document commissioning results and deliver complete closeout packages Service & Maintenance Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R systems across schools, fire stations, and municipal buildings Perform planned maintenance contracts and respond to emergency service calls Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues across multiple equipment platforms Maintain accurate service records, parts documentation, and warranty tracking Leadership Mentor and direct junior technicians and helpers in the field Serve as the COR3 point of contact on job sites — professional, accountable, and solutions-oriented Communicate clearly with customers, GC representatives, and project managers What You Bring 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience — both construction and service exposure required EPA 608 Universal certification required Florida HVAC Certified Contractor or Journeyman license preferred Hands-on experience with chillers, VRF, rooftop units, air handlers, and building automation/controls Ability to read mechanical plans, specifications, and equipment submittals Valid Florida driver's license with a clean record Strong communication skills — this role involves real customer and GC interaction Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and paid holidays Ongoing training and licensing support
