Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and indoor air quality systems. Perform routine maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system problems. Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to homeowners. Present repair and replacement options when appropriate. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards. Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation. Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Service fusion software a plus but not required Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of residential HVAC service experience. Valid driver's license Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
