Job Description
Bring your commercial HVAC estimating expertise to Miami with a team that values autonomy, flexibility, and long-term project success. Chief Mechanical Estimator / Mechanical Estimator - Commercial HVAC is a leadership-level role supporting a steady pipeline of plan/spec work across South Florida and reporting to the VP of Construction. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Estimator position include: 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience with commercial HVAC Must have chilled water, DX, and VRF estimating experience Prepare mechanical/HVAC estimates and proposals for commercial projects Perform quantity takeoffs and support plan/spec estimating Communicate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the estimating process Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, mechanical vendors, suppliers, and customers Lead the estimating function and provide guidance to 2-3 support estimators as needed Attend occasional local jobsite or pre-bid meetings as needed
