Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Facilities Electrical & Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining the building, systems, and equipment that ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant production environment. This position involves routine inspections, preventative maintenance, emergency response, and coordination with contractors to ensure minimal downtime and operational continuity.Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive electrical, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including: Rooftop units (RTUs) Split systems Air handlers, VAV boxes, and exhaust systems Boilers, chillers, and heat pumps (where applicable) Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues and implement effective corrective actions Perform HVAC system startup, shutdown, seasonal changeovers, and performance optimization Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and make minor control adjustments as needed Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation related to HVAC work Perform scheduled maintenance on building systems including HVAC, compressed air systems, lighting, electrical panels, plumbing, and safety systems to avoid unplanned downtime. Repair issues in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that impact production or building functionality. Respond quickly to urgent problems such as power outages, HVAC failures, equipment malfunctions, leaks, or fire/safety alarms. Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and inventory levels of tools, parts, and supplies. Perform routine facility upkeep tasks such as carpentry, patching, painting, and minor construction to support production areas and common spaces. Follow and enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, andOSHA/EPA
regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure maintenance tools, ladders, carts, lifts, and other equipment are inspected and kept in safe working condition.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities Strong working knowledge of: HVAC mechanical systems, Electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment and Refrigeration principles and airflow diagnostics Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals EPA Universal Certification (or ability to obtain) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Working knowledge of building systems in an industrial/manufacturing setting (e.g., HVAC, electrical, compressed air, plumbing). Strong mechanical repair skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Familiarity with safety codes, lockout/tagout, and OSHA regulations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Physical stamina to work in industrial environments (standing, lifting, climbing). Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:
Technical school or trade certification in HVAC/R 2+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Forklift or aerial lift certification is a plus.Work Environment:
Exposure to loud noise, machinery, and moving parts. May require work on elevated platforms, in confined spaces, or outdoors. Must be available for on-call or emergency response outside normal hours.GOLDFLOWER
