In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal comfort and air quality in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help deliver energy-efficient solutions that meet client specifications and adhere to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to valuing your skills and contributions. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration systems according to schematics and design plans. Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure proper operation. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) equipment to maximize efficiency and longevity. Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design documents, plumbing layouts, and mechanical diagrams for accurate installations. Use field service techniques to diagnose problems related to refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration units, or appliance repairs in various property types. Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools, parts, or equipment to job sites. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving welding, maintenance, or property upkeep to meet project deadlines. Skills Strong construction background with experience in mechanical installation and property maintenance. Proven service technician experience with HVAC systems or refrigeration units. Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components. Field service expertise including appliance repair, equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R industry standards. Experience with welding techniques necessary for system fabrication or repair work. Mechanical knowledge of boilers and other heating equipment essential for comprehensive system servicing.
