In this role, you will apply your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on nre construction, machinery, and mechanical systems using hand tools, precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers, and welding techniques. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting equipment performance and implement effective corrective actions. Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, AutoCAD files, CAD models, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and electrical schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications. Assist in project scheduling by coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols. Support equipment repair initiatives by performing welding, soldering, assembly, calibration with precision tools like micrometers and calipers, and routine inspections. Skills Strong mechanical engineering foundation with comprehensive mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance. Knowledge of GD&T principles for accurate measurement and quality control of machined parts. Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods to resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently. Excellent project scheduling skills to coordinate maintenance activities seamlessly within production timelines.
