Duties Install, assemble, and connect HVAC ductwork, ventilation systems, and related equipment according to schematics and design plans Conduct system troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and appliances to ensure optimal operation Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents for precise installation and repair procedures Perform welding, piping work (including plumbing), and equipment repair tasks with attention to safety standards Operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure system integrity Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and support service technicians during complex repairs or installations Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports, system specifications, and maintenance logs Requirements Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC installation or ductwork mechanics Service technician experience in HVAC, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), or appliance repair preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters Knowledge of plumbing, welding techniques, boiler systems, and property maintenance practices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Ability to work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols Join us to build a career where your skills make a difference!
