Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic HVAC Service / Sales Technician to join our team! Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical equipment in commercial and residential settings. Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct field service visits to assess system performance, identify repairs needed, and execute equipment repairs efficiently. Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure proper operation of HVAC/R systems. Provide expert advice on HVAC system upgrades or replacements, including ductwork modifications and equipment selection tailored to client needs. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports documenting all inspections, repairs, and installations performed. Build strong customer relationships through clear communication of technical information and professional service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or property maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and appliance repair. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately; familiarity with electrical wiring and control systems is essential. Mechanical skills including welding, equipment repair, and general maintenance procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred. Hands-on experience with field service operations involving troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters; familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Strong construction knowledge related to building systems; experience with property maintenance is advantageous. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety standards; excellent problem-solving skills required.
