Job Description
Allman's A/C is a family run business that has been raising the standard of HVAC work in Central Florida for the last 3 decades. We are a small shop that specializes in commercial installations with repeat contractors. We have an employee's first model that highlights quality, and it shows that over 80% of our business comes from the same customers we have worked with for the last 3 decades. Time and time again our quality of work has proven why our employee is the first model and our focus on knowledge makes us one of the best in business. And now we are growing again. Allman's A/C is looking to add a Service Tech to prepare for a big 2026 and an even bigger future. We are currently looking for qualified HVAC Service Technicians that want to find a place to call home. The Service Technician is the backbone of Allman's A/C, ensuring that all work meets the high standards of Allman's and maintains the great reputation of the company. This person has the knowledge and the tools to get the job done. They will be the face of the company interacting with our great customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Startups and wiring on commercial jobs. Maintain, perform inventory, and organize the parts and materials for service work. Follow all safety rules and regulations on the jobsite. Complete refrigerant logs accurately and timely. Obtain the necessary certifications required to perform their work in accordance with FL state laws. Communicate progress updates with the Office Manager. Provide guidance and oversee the work of any new trainees. Ensure all work meets code requirements and will pass inspection. Stay up to date with the most recent changes in rules, regulations, and industry standards and practices. All other tasks required by management.Skills and Qualifications:
1+ years' experience with HVAC Residential and Commercial Service. All tools are necessary to complete the required work. Skills and knowledge needed to complete the job. Able to lift 100lbs and climb a ladder. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Highly organized and able to stay on task. Strong written and verbal skills.Pay and Benefits:
- Weekly pay on Friday
- $28 - $40 per hour
- 7 paid Holidays per year
- Vacation available after 1 year
