Full-Time Job Summary:
Proman Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic for a project in Titusville, FL. This role involves installing and fabricating HVAC sheet metal duct systems in a commercial or industrial setting. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and secure HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systemsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMeasure, cut, bend, and fabricate sheet metal componentsEnsure proper alignment, sealing, and insulation of duct systemsUse hand tools and power tools safely and efficientlyInspect completed work to ensure quality and code complianceFollow all job site safety standards and proceduresCoordinate with team members, helpers, and supervisorsQualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of sheet metal or HVAC installation experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of duct installation and fabricationAbility to read blueprints and layout work independentlyProficient with sheet metal tools and equipmentAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditionsReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedRequirements:
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain site badgingU.S.Citizenship Required:
This position supports a U.S. government contract and requires applicants to be U.S. citizens.Reliable transportation to and from the job site
