Job Summary:
AC Installer We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Installer to join our team. As an AC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
Install air conditioning systems, including ductwork, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines, according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes. Conduct pre-installation assessments to determine the appropriate equipment and materials needed for each project. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment during installation. Connect wiring, control panels, thermostats, and other components to ensure proper functioning of the system. Test installed systems to verify functionality, efficiency, and performance. Troubleshoot and repair AC systems as needed, including identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts to optimize system performance and longevity. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Keep accurate records of work performed, including equipment installations, repairs, maintenance tasks, and service calls. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in HVAC installation is preferred. Proven experience as an AC Installer or similar role, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to HVAC installation and repair. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation and repair. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment and materials as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
