As our Residential HVACR Diagnostics Specialist, you'll diagnose, service, and repair heating and cooling systems, translating technical findings into easy-to-understand solutions for homeowners. You'll balance safety, craftsmanship, and customer care on every call—because that's what our team is known for. What your day may look like Arrive prepared: review work orders, verify tools and parts, and head to your first call. Diagnose and resolve issues across a variety of residential HVAC systems with precision and care. Clean, adjust, and repair components such as air handlers, ductwork, vents, and condensate drains. Communicate findings and options to customers, recommending the best path to safe, efficient operation. Document work thoroughly; maintain a professional, organized work environment. Jump in on emergency calls and system upgrades as needed—no two days are exactly the same. Role responsibilities Perform service, maintenance, and repair for residential HVAC systems with a focus on efficiency and safety. Conduct inspections, adjustments, and performance checks to ensure optimal operation. Provide expert recommendations that align with customer needs and industry standards. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications you bring 3-5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, ideally in the residential market. EPA Certification (required). Valid Driver's License with at least three years of driving experience. Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking abilities to resolve complex issues. A positive, quality-first mindset and pride in workmanship. Outstanding customer service with the ability to engage a wide range of clients. Professional communication skills with teammates and customers at all levels. Adaptable, collaborative, and energized by fast-paced work. Physical aspects of the work Routinely lift 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; navigate tight areas; push, pull, and carry tools and equipment; perform fine, detail-oriented work. Operate a vehicle safely. Work indoors and outdoors, including attics and crawlspaces. Stand, walk, and sit; communicate in person and by phone. Use hands to handle or feel objects/controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. Work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain, ice, or snow.
