Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology, including refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and mechanical equipment. Duties :
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Diagnose and repair issues with heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance systems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot system problems Conduct field service visits to property sites for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance tasks Repair or replace mechanical components such as motors, compressors, valves, pumps, and thermostats Ensure compliance with safety standards by properly handling refrigerants like ammonia and adhering to environmental regulations Maintain detailed service records including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems with a strong mechanical background Construction experience related to building systems installation or property maintenance preferred Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting techniques for complex systems including ammonia refrigeration units Hands-on experience with appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair is highly desirable Familiarity with field service operations in commercial or residential settings Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and refrigerant handling procedures required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for travel between job sites Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling license or HVAC technician certification are advantageous Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions that keep buildings comfortable and energy-efficient! $26.73 - $32.19 per hour
