Hammond Services is growing, and we are looking for qualified HVAC Maintenance Technicians who want to grow with us! We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. We are a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company that takes pride in everything we do. This is an entry level position where you will be performing basic HVAC maintenance and tune-ups. As you build your skills and gain knowledge you will advance into more of a service technician role. The ideal candidate will have completed HVAC training, have worked in the HVAC field previously, or have strong technical and mechanical abilities. •This position will require travel to our Griffin office for on-the-job training (up to 6 weeks).•

What You'll Do:
Perform on-site preventative maintenance, and routine repair on residential and/or light commercial HVAC units. Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements. Advises manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken. Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction. Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times. Use of software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
What You'll Bring:
Completion of HVAC training and/or experience, strongly preferred. Obtain the appropriate certifications (EPA Type I, II, III or Universal). Other HVAC certifications are a PLUS! Have a valid driver's license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age to drive 22 years old). Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
