Residential HVAC Installer

Duties Install new residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation equipment following schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during installation or service. Perform routine maintenance tasks on existing systems, including filter changes, refrigerant recharges, and component replacements. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately install or repair HVAC/R equipment. Assist with plumbing connections for HVAC systems. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for each project. Requirements Proven experience in construction or field service roles with a focus on HVAC installation or maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, refrigeration, plumbing, welding. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance practices. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other equipment repair instruments confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately. Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
