Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical expertise and passion for service will ensure optimal comfort and efficiency for our clients. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems involving plumbing, refrigeration, or HVAC/R systems. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to identify faults and carry out repairs effectively. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders, and document system conditions for future reference. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and general building operations to ensure safety and compliance. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, appliance repair, or property maintenance. Proven service technician experience working with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, or boiler equipment. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of HVAC design principles and the ability to implement effective solutions on-site. Skilled in plumbing work, welding techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on timely problem resolution. Valid driver's license with a clean driver record; familiarity with local routes preferred. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) standards. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to handle equipment repair efficiently. Ability to operate various tools including welding equipment, diagnostic meters, and maintenance machinery confidently.
